Saturday 29th Agra

OK - still no pix most mostly because my brain has ceased to function.

I promise pix on the morrow when there shall be free time to faff about.

I have been to a mosque, the Raj Ghat and a tomb.

Mostly Rodney was left at the hotel because I couldn't trust him to behave.

After Delhi we drove to Agra and had fun in a traffic jam at a toll booth wherein various persons crashed into other persons (a car kiss) and wielded hockey sticks.

Agra had ground to a pre-Diwali standstill by the time we arrived, but I have finally managed to get some rupees which I'll probably waste on tourist tat.

Oh - and I have photos of elephants walking down the road in Delhi.

October 28th

Don't ask about the flight.

No pix @ the mo - limited wifi access.

Arrive Delhi: 0930 local time having had about 5 seconds 'sleep'

Leave airport 1100

Drive through traffic to see mosque with very tall tower. Arrive at 12:30

Stay and take some pictures of squirrels and a female minah bird. Leave at 1330

See small Asian mongoose whilst stuck in traffic.

Arrive in Delhi hotel at 1645. Wrong room. Change room. Find wifi. Have cool bath (the coolth was not my choice.) This is supposedly a 5* establishment. I am now going to attempt to find some food.
