India/Nepal bird pics

Nothing unusual - and I didn't get a photo of everything I saw:

Minah birds and black kites at The Raj Ghat
Rose-ringed parakeets at a station.
Umm - ducks? Geese?
Black drongo - hotel garden in Agra
Egret - Intermediate, I think - Chitwan

Indian pond heron - Chitwan
Asian openbill - Chitwan

Possible peregrine against the dawn - Chitwan
Kestrel - Chitwan
Lesser Adjutant - Chitwan
Black ibis - Chitwan
Heron, right at the limit of my zoom - Chitwan

Lots of birds seen but not photographed: check back for a list if you're interested.

Kathmandu - Wednesday 9th November

Final day - early start  tomorrow to get 2 flights home to cold, miserable England.

Flew from Pokhara this morning after a 4:30 start to go up a mountain to see the sunrise.

OK - I didn't actually go up the mountain, but I did see the sunrise over Annapurna.

The 'pointy' mountain is called 'Fish Tail' in English, has never been climbed and never will be as it is a holy mountain.
